I know the Room is more meant for realistic Halls, I can't really judge if what I want sounds that realistic though (apart from the Arvo PГ¤rt recording). A Sweetwater Sales Engineer will get back to you shortly. Rather, its strength lies in its ability to be driven and manipulated in ways that the REEL thing could never do. It doesnt try to sound 1 to 1 with an analog piece of gear. I also like the hall on this recording here. Simply phenomenal I like TAIP for the same reasons I like Vintage Verb by Valhalla. I fancy the hall sounds from Jeremy Soule Oblivion Ost and Guild Wars Ost. So I am hesitating which one I should buy for now, since I can't really judge there quality with my reverb tinkering skill, apart from some very generell judgements. I recognized that the Valhalla ones are really just way better then anything free, though I couldn't get anything really that useful out of them. I tried my hands on a couple of freebies and also Valhalla Room and Valhalla Vintage Verb. Trying to get a more realistic sound i decided that I should use one Reverb for most of the Samples as it is recommended. Valhalla DSP updates ValhallaVintageVerb to v1.7.1 and ValhallaRoom to v1.5.

Valhalla Vintage Verb is way more versatile but Raum sounds great. Raum is on Knobcloud occasionally for around 30. Valhalla all day Raum is cool, but not the workhorse that Valhalla is. While using before the built reverbs of my samplers i decided that was not enough any more, since i use different samplers like Kontakt and Sampletank3 so the reverbs are also different. It all depends on workflow and what plugin makes the sound YOU want the easiest.
